dsully Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Works fine with 5 to 6,000 items. But when there are 100,000 items server slows to unbearable page load times. Any thoughts on why this happens? We are running on a dedicated server dual core procesor, 1g ram.
Guest Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 It is probably because it is loading the results on every page. You could cache the results or turn off any calls to get the url's that are not needed. There are a lot of threads in the forum for dealing with page load times. Look in the Tips and Tricks section and the contributions for Cache.
