USER ACCOUNT & CHECK OUT ERROR

Hi OS Community peoples,

 

I have just installed oscommerce from the built in tools section of my hosting company, at the moment it is just the stock standard version, when I try to ADD A ACCOUNT or view CHECK OUT I get the following errors :

Error 404 : Not Found

 

The requested URL /oscommerce/checkout_shipping.php was not found on this server.

The files are in the directory, I have read the installation manual about the SSL settings causing this and since I did not have controll over the installation I do not know how to set this up or turn off the SSL untill I get a certicficate, at the moment I am concetrating on learning the system so I can customize the design of the store. Does any one have a solution to this ?
