SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Hello, Can someone help me please? The problem is: I am putting my options in Product attributes page and it simply doesn't show up under the product. Or...it shows up, but in a weird way. Like, just one option out of 4. Let's say, I put Size S, M, L, XL - and only size L shows up under the product on it's page. I'll be really appretiate your help, guys. Best regards, Vadim
digbydo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 L is the first alphabetically and therefore will show up.... you should however have a dropdown box full of the other options. If not, let us know the url and I'll take a look. one-click installation.. Dave's info
digbydo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 in admin / products attributes the section called Products Attributes you should have Product Name filled in. It's blank. Your images seem to be missing as well. You'd better password that admin section quickly as well :-" one-click installation.. Dave's info
digbydo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Manufacturers Manufacturers Action 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-12, 12' at line 1 select manufacturers_id, manufacturers_name, manufacturers_image, date_added, last_modified from manufacturers order by manufacturers_name limit -12, 12 Perhaps you'd better check the installation.. one-click installation.. SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Thanks, I'll try it! Dave, what did you mean by "images missing"? Where? Also, how to put a password to admin? I am pretty new here. I blocked the links for now.
SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Do I need manufacturers section if I don't have to put the manufacturers name ?
digbydo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Dave, what did you mean by "images missing"? Where? In your admin section the products and category images did not display for me. Also, how to put a password to admin? I am pretty new here. I blocked the links for now. Through your hosting admin panel by protecting the admin folder or via .htaccess one-click installation.. digbydo Posted September 24, 2006 Posted September 24, 2006 Do I need manufacturers section if I don't have to put the manufacturers name ? Not really, but as we have already decided something isn't quite right with your installation it's better to have it working before you "don't bother with it" than going live and it falling over.. one-click installation.. SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Dave, that's what I did - in hosting admin panel I only enabled options for owner. But how can I put a password? Like how can I enter myself? Also, about images. They seems to be broken in upload page, but they fine in a store, as a product images they display good. Dave, one more question. Do you know how can I remove "Product description" thumbnail when product displayed? Regards, Vadim
SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 You're right , I'll definetely take care of manufacturers list as well.

Like how can I enter myself? I'm sorry, I don't know which Control Panel you have with your hosts. (Cpanel / Plesk / Other ?) but usually it's something like Directories / add new protected directory name (Admin) / add user name and password one-click installation.. Dave's info
SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Yeah, Ok, I did put a password on admin. That was a good idea. Thank you, Dave!
SHANAHAN Posted September 24, 2006 Author Posted September 24, 2006 Sorry, but still got a problem with Product attributes. I can't insert a product name. The box is too small and it simply doesn't allow to write anything in this box. Regards, Vadim
