pynchon Posted September 23, 2006 Posted September 23, 2006 I'm not sure how serious this is but obviously would like to get it sorted. I keep getting this error when I'm trying to backup my database. 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'option,ordering,admin_menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components select id,name,link,menuid,parent,admin_menu_link,admin_menu_alt,option,ordering,admin_ menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components [TEP STOP] If anyone can shed some light on this and how I may go about sorting it I'd be most obliged many thanks John K

pynchon Posted September 23, 2006 Author Posted September 23, 2006 what version of oscommerce are you using and is it heavily modified version is 2.2 ... and though modified I don't think it is done heavily... URL is http://www.sporran-nation.co.uk/catalog No contributions have been added and very little has been done to the admin side apart from removing all the default products and changing a few details. many thanks John K

I deleted these tables and back-up succeeds without error. :) all is well
