Google Search!
Jack_mcs Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 I can't help you with your php problem but the mysql file in that contributon probably would not work anyway due to mysql changes over the years. I have uploaded a new version with an updated sql file. You should use that one when your upload problems are resolved. Dennis_gull Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 Im not sure what shell access is.
Dennis_gull Posted September 22, 2006 Author Posted September 22, 2006 If shell access is that place where you can chmod folders and so on then yes if not im not sure :) Anyways I thought it would be a good idea to get the phpmyadmin to work. Does anyone have an idea why I get the #2002 error when i try to install it. And everyone is talking about a mysql.sock file but i searched the folder i downloaded and there isnt one but if i understand this right the file get created when you start the installation on your site? anyways I cant find the file. On other forums most of the people say: change the /var/...../mysql.sock to /tmp/mysql.sock but I dont have neither of these two folders.
