certain discount rate when registering

Hi,

Is it possible to assign a certain discount rate to a certain category of customers when they register in the shop?

 

I will make an example how I would like to do it:

 

In create_account.php there will be a check box.

When a registering customer ticks that box a certain discount rate will be assigned to him/her.
