Can't get the Paypal Pro Module working - Blank Page

Dear Techs,

 

I have read ALL pages in this forum from 42 to current.

 

I have been coding for 15 years in HTML and various other codes and have always been able to get things working without any help.

 

However, this has me stumped. I researched this THOROUGHLY in the forums, but nothing it stated worked (as I tried it ALL).

 

As soon as I get onto the checkout PAGES (and if I click the paypal express checkout)... it goes to a blank page. If I try to run through until payment confirmation... and then hit continue (blank page shows up).

 

I checked all the config files (pathing), and it looks correct to me.

 

Sadly, I know very little about PHP.... which makes this a bit difficult on me.

 

I installed the PEAR that you have for download (I uploaded it MANY TIMES to make sure). I then changed the time-out value as well.

 

The pathing in the admin looks correct (as do the modules, paths and API info). I added the extra tables with phpmyadmin... which was required.

 

Folks, I use aMember Pro (and the API cert works PERFECTLY there, along with the Paypal Pro plugin).....

 

With osCommerce, I can't seem to figure out what is wrong.

 

 

EVERYTHING WORKS, except this BLANK PAGE when using or clicking on the CHECKOUT with Paypal button (express checkout).

 

WHAT do I need to paste here so that you can check what is going on?

I use GLOBAT bahamas.globat.com as my server (and yes... THEY ARE NOT VERY USEFUL over there). Fact is, they have an older 2003 version of the admin tied into their system. I just hit a button and it loaded all the PHP files into my root directory. Then I updated all files and upgraded the osCommerce (with a fresh install as per the os Forum for update/upgrading.

 

I am STUMPED.... Lost......

 

Please help. I would very much appreciate it.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am in the same boat - only with a Paybox module not PayPal.Trying to help a friend get his site up and running again after moving to a new host.

 

Anyway,I can see what it is not - the blank screen is not because all errors are being sent directly to Apache's error logs.There are no errors in the error logs at all.

 

The modulev2.cgi has the correct execute permissions.

 

I am trying to update the old paybox.cgi file with the new mandatory variables,but every time it is the same.Blank screen.

 

I have manually inserted the tables in the databse,so,I don't think it's that.

 

Like you,I'm also stumped :'( In fact,i'm about to eat my own hair if I can't fix this.

 

I cannot even find any trace of a new Paybox module which has supposedly been released.The contrib number leads to a no releases error.

The contrib link leads nowhere.At least if I had a new file to interface with the cgi,that would rule out any coding errors.

@Donald: I'd suggest upgrading to the newest version of my module. It doesn't require pear modules and it's much easier to install.

 

A blank page on Express Checkout is generally caused by an invalid or incorrectly installed certificate. Also, if you try to use Sandbox mode with a live certificate, it'll do that.
