The main website is now CMS driven and I've been doing some work to approach the CMS engine, OSC and phpBB styles (a few minor adjustments still needed are being left on hold to more important things) Installed mods (working): SPPC for groups Hide products for SPPC Email subject Add weight to cart Actual atributes price Add atributes weight Bank transfer contrib Mail tracking CCGV (and couple more probably...) Not working (need looking into): PDF catalogue Thumbnail for pdf catalogue Planning to install: Shipping estimator Purchase Without Account html editor area Next features being looked at: Pictures and graphics improvement Additional translation of a couple things still only in english Changing the OSC standard graphics Adjusting shipping and payment modules Groups setting and acess Integration with phpBB users login Updating product descriptions This said, link is: http://www.ornicare.com/catalog Any "outsider" views, critics and suggestion will be very welcome. The shopping cart page really should have the 'checkout' button which you have removed for some reason. The curved header logo needs looking at, make it smoother. Other than that, good luck. Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back! Why receive the information you require in good faith for free, only to then have the attitude to ignore the people who gave it to you? There's no harm in saying, 'Thanks, it worked'. On the contrary, it creates a better atmosphere. CHOOCH

Graphics work is one of the fetures on the list, just want to take care of the updates and info before that. Been updating shipping and payment options/details for several separate zones, product avaiability and now getting to product descriptions (3 languages) and photos. Again, thanks for suggestions and comments.

It was a nightmare to get it up and running its www.shnoop.com. its a site that sells one deal everyday. let me know if you see any proplems with site. thanks in advance.
scottybalotty Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 what do you mean buy need to fix pdf catalogue? I have mine up and running that when the user clicks a link it opens in a new browser. It's a hefty 25mb but that's about as low as it can go as its over 100 pages. www.dciron.co.uk/shop/ Or is there a different way to do it?
