Inline Integration of osCommerce into an existing webpage

I know there are a tonne of way to use osCommerce as a standalone website, but I'm having trouble fiding info on how to put only the neccessary components of osCommerce into my pre-existing website.

 

I dont want osCommerce's header, footers, sidebars, etc... for the front end.

 

rather, i just want to take the certain "boxes" and the main engine of the cart and put them inline with my existing pages..

 

I saw another ecommerce solution that give detailed instructs on how to use "php includes" to implement the cart where necessary on your existing page, does osCommerce work like this too, or is it just a standalone?
