Authorize.net and a declined CC

When testing the checkout with the intention of the CC being declined, the process DOES take me back to the payment page but there is no related error. WHat can i do to get a related error to be displayed on the payment page when this occurs?

OK i fixed it.

I had to replace the line

if (isset($HTTP_GET_VARS['payment_error']) && is_object(${$HTTP_GET_VARS['payment_error']}) && ($error = ${$HTTP_GET_VARS['payment_error']}->get_error())) {

with

if (isset($_GET['error_message'])) {
