Same problems on installation

Hi

I'm trying to install OSC on a hosted server and I keep hitting the same problems. This is what keeps happening. I don't know whether the two are related to the same thing so I'll list them both.

 

1. I can go to both the initial catalog page and admin index page but when I click on one of the actions I get a 404 error. This according to my ISP is because the link is adding www. in front of the URL and they correct this issue for me.

 

I don't think the two are related but here is the other thing

 

2. the images in the right panel and all the images for things like flags are all broken links throughout the admin area, however the header images are showing.

 

Any ideas??

sounds like your configure.php files are not setup properly, post them for help.
