File error

I get this error

Warning Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /customers/myposter.dk/myposter.dk/httpd.www/testshop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

I read in the manual that it's the configure.php I have to chmod 644, now I've done that to both of them (the one in admin/includes and the one in includes/) but I still get the error....

What do I do?

Any useful help, I thank for..

Some hosts require that it be set to 444 or 400. And some won't allow you to set it from an ftp program (assuming that is how you did it).

If you can't ftp and change it to 444 try this

Copy this code save as permFix.php

Then upload permFix.php to the root and run

It won't report anything......

<?php
chmod('includes/configure.php', 0444);
?>

When I try that, I get "You don't have permission to access /includes/permFix.php on this server."

The URL is right.... I can't change the file to 444.... So, it looks like I can't change it.... bah

What do I do to remove the error then?
