Blacklist Contribution

Recommended Posts

1146 - Table 'mlqrrjhu_.TABLE_BLACKLIST' doesn't exist

SELECT c.customers_id, b.customers_id, b.ban_customer, b.description FROM customers c, TABLE_BLACKLIST b WHERE b.customers_id = '6'

[TEP STOP]

I installed the Blacklist contribution, I can blacklist people as I have just blacklisted myself but instead of getting the message that I set-up I get the above message. I have set up the SQL file aswell.

This is the error message on phpmyadmin:

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'blacklist' at line 1

and this is the SQL file:

#

# Database table for `blacklist`

#

CREATE TABLE blacklist (

customers_id int(13) NOT NULL default '0',

ban_customer tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0',

attempted_use tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0',

description varchar(255) default NULL,

entry_street_address varchar(64) NOT NULL,

entry_suburb varchar(32),

entry_postcode varchar(10) NOT NULL,

entry_city varchar(32) NOT NULL,

entry_state varchar(32),

date_added datetime NOT NULL default '0000-00-00 00:00:00'

) TYPE=MyISAM;

its saying that the table is installed however it is also saying the same error message

when i create the table and run a query then it works finely.

there may be proble in concatinating table name with presuffix. Please ensur ther is no space or dot or special character in table name and presuffix "'mlqrrjhu_" and aslo that presuffix is needed or not

When you see capital letters, as in TABLE_BLACKLIST, in an error, it means that term has not been defined. So you need to look in your database_tables.php file to be sure it is there.

Thanks, this fixed it! I included it in admin/includes database_tables.php but not the other one.

Thanks once again.

Chris

PS. Thanks GulSar Ray's for your replies aswell.

This is just a quick question. I have got the Blacklist contribution working and I am able to blacklist accounts but is there a way of blacklisting I.P addresses which stops individuals from registering different accounts?

So you block the I.P altogether.

Chris
