Can we change "Delivered" to "Shipped" in the Order Status?

Hi all,

I would like to change the order status "delivered" to "shipped" instead. My customers are confused when they see the word "delivered" because they don't know if it means they should have it in hand or if it was shipped...

I know I could add a comment about it in the comment field, but I'd rather simply change the status word.

I've looked around in php files but cannot find where to make the modification...

Thanks!

take a look at:

includes/languages/english/account_history.php

and:

includes/languages/english/checkout_shipping.php

Thanks!

But I don't see it in there... All theer is is this:

define('NAVBAR_TITLE_1', 'My Account');

define('NAVBAR_TITLE_2', 'History');

define('HEADING_TITLE', 'My Order History');

define('TEXT_ORDER_NUMBER', 'Order Number:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_STATUS', 'Order Status:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_DATE', 'Order Date:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_SHIPPED_TO', 'Shipped To:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_BILLED_TO', 'Billed To:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_PRODUCTS', 'Products:');

define('TEXT_ORDER_COST', 'Order Cost:');

define('TEXT_VIEW_ORDER', 'View Order');

Look in your admin panel... Localization > Orders Status

:)

Maggi is correct. This setting is stored in the database and not in a language file.

We've done this - changed "delivered" to "completed" and also added a "refunded" category - so we can keep the details and create a "refunded" invoice.

You need to go to the database and look up the table: orders_status

Then click on "browse" (if using php my admin) and then you can use "edit" to change the word. You can also add a row with anything else you like.

Hope that's useful.
