but at - http://corona.servebeer.com/forward-music/conditions.php it is not... even on this page i would like the footer to be at the bottom of my explorer...

hope u now what i mean? is there any way to fix this by adjusting either header.php or footer.php or something like that?

I think but am not sure but STS contribution might allow this. It is a template system that applies a html template to your osc installation.

i dont know if i really understand what you are trying to do, but if you just want your footer to always be aligned at the bottom of your page, add this to the first <tr> tag in your footer <tr valign="bottom">

What? Yeah, I can do that.

Thanks for the input, but i havnt realy done what i will do.....

Ok, here is the page as it looks: http://corona.servebeer.com/forward-music/conditions.php

I want it to look like this screenshot with the footer all away at the botton: http://corona.servebeer.com/conditions.jpg

BTW: Where to put the valign=bottom in the footer.php file?

<?php

require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'counter.php');

?>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">

<tr class="footer">

<td class="footer">  <?php echo strftime(DATE_FORMAT_LONG); ?>  </td>

<td align="right" class="footer">  <?php echo $counter_now . ' ' . FOOTER_TEXT_REQUESTS_SINCE . ' ' . $counter_startdate_formatted; ?>  </td>

</tr>

</table>

<br>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

<tr>

<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo FOOTER_TEXT_BODY; ?></td>

</tr>

</table>

<?php

if ($banner = tep_banner_exists('dynamic', '468x50')) {

?>

<br>

<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

<tr>

<td align="center"><?php echo tep_display_banner('static', $banner); ?></td>

</tr>

</table>

<?php

}

?>

<?php

if ( CENTER_SHOP_ON == 'on' ) {

?>

<?php

/*

</td></tr>

</table>

*/

?>

<?php

if ( CENTER_SHOP_BACKGROUND_ON == 'on' ) {

}

}

?>

As Michael pointed out, because you have no content on the conditions page, the footer is not as low on the page as you want to see it. Simple solution, add some content!

A hack would be to code in a big empty cell or use a spacer gif, to force the footer down lower.

Problem there is different resolutions... the footer wount be at the bottom like in valign=bottom would do.

It will just be an amount of pixels more down .....

I have seen this done on other pages, so it must be a way to fix this?

Like if u make an tabel for scratch an put <tr valign=bottom> on the last tr it would be at the bottom...

Like this: http://corona.servebeer.com/me-design/ - the two stripes at the bottom of the page are valign=bottom, and they stay at the bottom regardless of where much content it is on the page...

hope this helps!? :)

try this

<?php
require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'counter.php');
?>
<table valign="bottom" border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">
<tr class="footer">
<td class="footer">  <?php echo strftime(DATE_FORMAT_LONG); ?>  </td>
<td align="right" class="footer">  <?php echo $counter_now . ' ' . FOOTER_TEXT_REQUESTS_SINCE . ' ' . $counter_startdate_formatted; ?>  </td>
</tr>
</table>
<br>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo FOOTER_TEXT_BODY; ?></td>
</tr>
</table>
<?php
if ($banner = tep_banner_exists('dynamic', '468x50')) {
?>
<br>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center"><?php echo tep_display_banner('static', $banner); ?></td>
</tr>
</table>
<?php
}
?>

<?php
if ( CENTER_SHOP_ON == 'on' ) {
?>
<?php
/*
</td></tr>
</table>
*/
?>
<?php

or this

<?php
require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'counter.php');
?>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1">
<tr valign="bottom" class="footer">
<td class="footer">  <?php echo strftime(DATE_FORMAT_LONG); ?>  </td>
<td align="right" class="footer">  <?php echo $counter_now . ' ' . FOOTER_TEXT_REQUESTS_SINCE . ' ' . $counter_startdate_formatted; ?>  </td>
</tr>
</table>
<br>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center" class="smallText"><?php echo FOOTER_TEXT_BODY; ?></td>
</tr>
</table>
<?php
if ($banner = tep_banner_exists('dynamic', '468x50')) {
?>
<br>
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center"><?php echo tep_display_banner('static', $banner); ?></td>
</tr>
</table>
<?php
}
?>

<?php
if ( CENTER_SHOP_ON == 'on' ) {
?>
<?php
/*
</td></tr>
</table>
*/
?>
<?php

What? Yeah, I can do that.
