Product Screenshot looks different - I can't upload images

My Admin Catalog/Product screenshot looks completely different from the Support Site one. It is a simple long page and has no tabs or place to specify uploading images to a specific directory. I need to separate my products images by manufacture rather than have a huge long mixed image folder.

The Support site screenshot shows a tab for images and a bar where you can enter the directory you want them image stored in. I think I have the latest version of OSCommerce .......I downloaded it yesterday

PLEASE HELP.

Can't imagine what your screenshot looks like without a URL but if you've just downloaded there's unlikely to be a newer version... perhaps the support shots are a little behind.

The following contributions might help with your manufactureres and images requirements. There's plenty more to choose from if you search through.

Thanks for answering my plea for help. I found a contribution as suggested which indicates it will cure my woes. I downloaded it and unzipped it (catimagessetup) Question is now what do I do with it? Or rather where do I copy it to?

Boy, I thought I knew a little about html but I'm really swimming with the sharks with php stuff. I'm using Dreamweaver 8 to create my site. (www.vossperformance.us) then building a store within.

Thanks again for any help.

The osCommerce Knowledge Base shows screenshots from the admin panel of MS3 - which hasn't been released yet.

Thanks for clearing that up, but I'm still stuck as to knowing how to implement contributions. I downloaded and unzipped catimagessetup. What do I do with it? Or rather where do I copy it to?

Thank you,

Obvious Neebie but trying.

I get exactly what you see when I'm in our stores... where that screenshot came from ??

Get rid of that user name and pass immediately... your admin panel is open to the world !!

I did that already. thanks,

Can you tell me how to implement the contribution catimagessetup?

Regards,

Howard

The 'Read Me' file that comes with the contribution tells you exactly what to do. It's a very basic install, so if you don't understand the Read Me file you should reconsider trying to do it.

Hello Again:

I was trying to load a fix instead of the contribution...

anyway I followed the instructions and checked verything required. Started out fine but got this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_output_generated_category_path_fs() in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/103651/webspace/httpdocs/catalog/admin/catimagessetup.php on line 127

So I went to look at line 127 which says:

$display[] = array('1' => '<tr>', '2' => '<td nowrap>'.$tree[$b]['text'].'</td>', '3' => '<td nowrap class="displayData">'.DIR_FS_CATALOG_IMAGES.tep_output_generated_category_path_fs($tree[$b]['id']).'</td>', '4' => '</tr>');

So I'm back to square two....
