Where to go to change permissions

Recommended Posts

what do you need to set the permission at?

i thought it was 755 (need read and write permissions turned on)

Depends on what error you are getting , if its the config.php file, then you need to go to your control panel for hosting your account and find the file manager, then select the file under includes and change permission to read only, i.e you can use 0444 0r 0400,

make sure to delete the install directory completely as well, you dont need it after installation.

If this does not work.. just post a link to your site so that we can help break down the problem.
