Images are not showing properly

I made a website for a client , and i've noticed at the end of my job , that every image that contains in her name the character '&" is not displaying in the website .

For example : the name of the image is "5031-&"

I just discover that this happens only at Internet Explorer and not at Mozilla . Unfortunately i was making the website with Mozilla !!!

Now i have about 100 products with this kind of images , and i must rename all these !!!

Please help me !!1

I use acdsee for images. it has a nice "rename series" feature

Thank you my friend , but this method means that i have to rename all the images and the database also with the new names !!

I'm trying to find a way where the html_output function will bypass the problem with the image names .
