URL Rewrite Problem

I'm a newb...

 

It appears that the URL Rewrite is having a problem, this is especially true in the "Category" box. I'm not sure where the problem exists or where I need to place a fix, or even where to look.

 

My Test Server: http://compass.jameshawes.net/catalog/index.php.

 

If you click on a category you see an address like:

http://compass.jameshawes.net/catalog/index.php/cPath/86

 

- - Nothing happens - -

 

if I change the link to:

http://compass.jameshawes.net/catalog/index.php?cPath=86

 

- - it works fine - -

 

does anybody have any ideas? I would think that even if it could be disabled the URL rewrite so that the second link would work thtat would be fine too.

I'm so embarassed! I figured out the problem...finally put a good search into the forum and found the answer.
