Security updates?

Somebody informed today that my osC installation has many security holes. How do I update my osC installation, and where do I find the latest security patches?

 

I downloaded the latest version of osC. Will that include the latest patches?

 

Is there documentation on updating? I could not find any. One problem is I have made several manual changes to my site, so I cannot simply overwrite them.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using the latest version of OS Commerce and my site just got hacked. The intruder overwrote the main index.php page, knocking out the entire store.

 

I don't want to post the URL as the site is currently vulnerable.

 

I don't know how the hack happened so right now, I'm a sitting duck. Any help/advice is appreciated.
