Dynamic image which displays text about new products

Hi

I have seen this used in other ways but thought it would be an excellent idea if not already done for OsC

 

I basically want a .png file that displays my site logo or an ad image and then on the right hand side some vertical marquee text links for last 'x' products added to my site.

 

This is to be dynamically generated and can be used to advertise your products on other websites

 

I thought there should be some way of doing it like the signature images used in forums that display last member who joined etc where the .png file is actually a .php file

 

i think the way these are created is using php functions such as imagecreatefrompng etc

 

I couldnt find a contribution that did this already, but I am hoping its already been done ;)

 

If not i know a little about the dynamic sig images and if anyone wants to help could have a stab at making a contribution to do it :)
