I spend some hours looking for an answer but had trouble finding the right answer. I am using osCommerce to organize a collection of about 2500 model cars. I am not looking into selling them anytime soon but I found osCommerce to be perfect for organizing the collection. The general product type unfortunately does not fit my needs. I would like to keep all these general fileds since I might need some of them in the future. So what I am looking for is a way to extend the general product type with additional product description fiels (color, original boxed, material, size, etc.).
