Add a simple checkbox to the customers info.

Hi,

Say you have sent some bumpf (be it a catalogue/promo material/ whatever) to your customer and wanted to record a simple checkbox in the customers.php file to indicate this has been done

Would anyone be so kind as to let me know how.

 

I know you have to add a column to the customers file (easy), and add some sql into the mix (more tricky) but other than that im not sure how.

 

I also know this is possible to do using the admin notes contrib but im sure theres an easier answer to this.
