Totally New on this and need help please!

Hey all,

 

Ive just installed oscommerce through my control panel using fantastico...must be something that installs it?

 

Anyways i have gone through the settings etc and all seem fine such as shop name etc etc.

 

Now i have no idea what i need to do!

 

My web site name is www.mjdrallying.co.uk

 

and when i click on catalog on my admin screen it goes to http://mjdrallying.co.uk.

 

Where is my shop? It just shows my main site. Is there a template I need to edit or something if so where is it found etc.

The store and your site are both in the root folder because when you put: http://mjdrallying.co.uk/index.php we can see the store

ah magic thanks for that. so do i just download the file templates in my root folder and edit whats there then?

 

I take it images are the same as web pages drop them into the page n upload to the ftp?

Go to www.oscommerce.com and download the pdf document of the entire Knowledge Base for osCommerce 2.2 MS2, and this will give you some understanding of how osCommerce works.

I got this error when accidently deleteting all the manufactures what do i do?

That's an old version Fantastico installs! You need to download the latest version from here and read the update file. I would overwrite the files with the new ones but whatever works for you.
