A very simmple design, I really like the logo and header. I do not agree with black text over purple. Also, the left corner on the infoboxes are gray, should be purple. I suggest using SSL and also changing the bottom privacy policy, shipping, contact us and terms and condition links to make them look like links "Underline".

thanks , have changed the black to a white over the purple, and changed the corner colours on the infoboxes.

will certainly look at getting SSL up and running too.

the person whom I made the site for did not want underlines on links so that is a no starter for them

more products ,pls

more will be added over the upcoming weeks. this site was intended more to be a way for people who have seen the product at fairs and trade shows to order if they where not able to at the time or if they thought of other people to get this product for.

Site looks nice and clean. There are not many products on there anyway.

 

A bit more info and pictures of the bags would be nice. Saw similar bags a while ago in a forum feedback shop. Can't remember which one though.

 

Your topic title says it, you're a Canadian company but why doesn't it give your business address and your phone number on the website? Just imagine, I've found your site via google. I'm in Ireland but until I reach the shipping page (which a normal customer might not check at all) I have no clue where you are shipping to. I could have saved my time falling in love with the products if I knew I can't order them.

 

You don't want traffic that can't buy.

Have added the address and phone number to the contact us page, shipping page as that is always a good thing for the customer to know. and since we are currently only shipping to Canada and the US at the moment, I have limited the country selection in the account creation to those 2 only. will add more detailed pictures and further description as well in the next few days.

- too many pictures on home page, i suggest putting your 'specials' into a info box under currencies

- info boxes' headings aren't colour co-ordinated (part grey, part purple)

- you often use sarif fonts, tend to look ugly on the web

- you constantly are changing the font size.

- i do like the theme though, very well chosen considering the products.

also you could make things a lot neater by having the available colours set in 'product_attributes' rather than making a separate listing for each. when you do get more items on your site, it may get messy and tiresome for someone to forage through your listings.

Your site seems to be awfully slow right now. I quite like the big images for the colour options. Gives me a better idea of how it really looks like rather than a dropdown attributes list.

 

About the shipping... well, it's in your shipping page and you restricted the countries in the account creating process. That might help once the customer puts in his details but I wouldn't even go that far to figure out any shipping options. Did you check how many visitors you get to your site and how often the shipping.php page is displayed? I know I'm looking for this page when I'm reviewing osC shops but usually it's only interesting for me if I don't get the info in another way before I create an account or put in my CC details.

How did you get the tax function to work?

Have not currently added taxes as of yet since the companie is still under the $30,000 level that Revenue Canada allows for to not charge the GST/HST. however that will be something we'll be looking at soon.

did not notice that the infobox corners had reverted back to the original, put back the modified corners that match in colour, thanks.

will also look into a consistant few font sizes as well.

For a young girls site, the stylesheet and layout are down to a Tee... it's actually quite good for the market you are trying to reach.

 

In the shopping cart page you must add the same colour using the stylesheet that you have for the other bars because it looks out of sync with the rest of the site.

Upon receiving fixes and advice, too many people don't bother to post updates informing the forum of how it went. Until of course they need help again on other issues and they come running back!

I changed the colours in the shopping cart to better match the site.

thanks I did not even notice that... mind must have been elsewhere.
