adding text to product listings

Hi all,

 

I would like to add some text into the product name column of the page that displays all the products in a category.

 

Which file do I need to amend?

Patrick, what are you asking? In other words, are you saying you want to add another column? If it's what I think it is, and you want a short description like what I have on my website, well, this will be a good one for you. My site looks like this when you display the products:

 

1 1/2 inch x 3 Inch Square Beam Member <---- the product, that is hyperlinked

Reliable, durable, heavy-duty construction; beam is whitened area <---- short description, not hyperlinked

 

You'll have to do what I did. Download and install the easy short_description contribution here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3123/ ... there are a few of these contributions, but all I know is that I chose this one and it was easy to install and works great.
