Nom if you want to have the benifits of reciprocal links you have to think of three way linking have a website which is ment only for reciprocal links and which has nothing to do with your main website and you get the backlinks to your MAIN WEBSITE,

 

anyways for that you will have to search for dead domains which have good PR.

Yes, you are wrong. "Reciprocal linking is gone, its passe " and "Which has nothing to do" are simply wrong. It has always been true that one-way links are better than two-way, but link exchanges are still a legitimate way of raising PR, for what that is worth.

From my understanding, the value attached to reciprocal linking has reduced over time but it still works as long as you link to relevant sites.

 

 

 

 

 

Which book is this you are reading radnam? Nobody outside of Google knows exactly how PageRank is calculated. Most SEO firms might know factors which contribute to it but do not know the exact weight placed upon those factors by Google. Also Google's algorithm is always subject to change.

Hello,

 

You know its impossible to understand how Pr ranking for google works. Have been working on our website for the past four months even though the PR for the website has remained the same but it has started showing up on the first page for many main keywords on the first page and have not read any book its just that was going through this book and thaught that can incorporate the book knowledge to our use.

 

I know reciprocal links are dead now, three way linking can work for you. also the best way is to get links from forums if you can.

Why do you repeat this fallacy? Link exchanges still work. They are not, and have never been the best solution. But they do still work. The main point you should get from your studies though is that PR doesn't make a big difference at all, when compared to other SEO changes. If you can get a one-way link from a major site, say EBay, then it is worth it. But otherwise, it's importance is trivial, when taken alone, and should not have much time spent on it.
