aro818 Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Hi, I'm having some trouble with setting up security on my website. Since osCommerce uses .php script that means there are includes. Using includes theres no way to do password protection on specific sections on your website without locking up the whole thing. Lets say I have a website which i sell photos on. I have categories listed under Super Bikes, Motocross, and then a Private section. Under private, lets say I have John's Wedding 2006. I want to password protect all products under John's wedding 2006. So far, the only way I've thought of going about doing this is to have all the images that are uploaded for the products in a separate folder (Ex. /images/JohnsWedding/) Then I can password protect that directory using my hosting cPanel. What I dont know how to do is figure out how to make it so that the "John's Wedding" product photos get uploaded into that directory.
