Problems Transfering Store to new server

Hello,

 

I am helping my friend move his current oscommerce store to a new server, but I am running into some problems. I downloaded the catalog folder and backed up the db.

 

Couple things:

 

- I want the new site to be in the main directory, not /catalog

- I first tried to just upload the catalog folder, chmod the appropriate dir's and restore the db, but I had errors logging into the oscomerrce admin

- decided to do a fresh install on new server of oscommerce and then replaced images, stylesheets etc.

- restored the db, admin section works now

- I still have some files to update but I am having a couple problems

 

Some product pages don't seem to work, and there is an error at the bottom that says:

 

Error!

 

Unable to determine the page link!

* Click on Wheels for example on the new site, all I get is a black page that says "Let's See What We Have Here"

Actually think I may have figured out the problem.
