JennaG Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 Over the past two weeks or so, I think four or five customers (out of about 15) have written to say they can't check out because they keep getting bounced back to an opening screen. I can't replicate the problem-- it works fine for me-- but my managing editor can. Here's what she wrote: I clicked through the link in the newsletter to http://store.absolutewrite.com/product_inf...26580273306001a I added it to the cart, then tried to check out. I was at the screen where you could either register or put in your email and password. I entered my email and password and clicked submit. It looped me around back to that page again. I thought I maybe mis-typed my password, so I tried another, and the same thing happened. I finally clicked the forgot your password link and it looped me around again. --- Any ideas? Please?
JennaG Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 Bump... anyone? I thought it might have been the session ID in the url that was the problem, but no. Now it's 5 people in one week all complaining about the same thing, and they're not all using links with session IDs in them. I'm stumped.
