Moving the coupon redeem fuction to the shopping cart

Hey!

 

I've been using OScommerce for a long time now and it's great. I'm not so great at PHP and I have a question. I'm currently using the CCGV 5.16 coupon contribution, but would like to move the coupon redeem box from the checkout_payment.php page to the shopping cart page. I would like it to have the same functionality like normal but apply the coupon discount before moving to the checkout process. (Some of my product manufacturers won't allow me to directly advertise a certain price, but applying a coupon code to get that price is fine).

 

Is there anyone out there that can help me out? I know how to move the redeem box, but I don't know how to apply its functionality elsewhere.
