Ok, I've been searching this forum for two days and can't find the answers I need.. I have found bits and peices that have gotten me started tho but this is sooo not working so can someone please please help me!

Ya'll have to excuse me cause I am sooo new to this thing. Ok, here's what I need to happen.. When a person purchases a product... which is a .zip file... I need them to be able to DL it after purchase. I found out where to enable this option (I think) which is configuration>download set first two options to "true"... then I went to product attributes... selected the Product, and put in the filename chelsie.zip (example)... I have NO clue what I was supposed to put for "Option Name" or "Option Value" (can someone explain that to me?) And then I FTPed the zip file to the catalog>downloads folder on my server...

Now what happens is... after payment you do see a link ur account page thingy.. but its broken - takes me to "page cannot be found"...

Now I've used up all the download count thingy LOL So can you also tell me how to reset that? ROFL OMG I'm clueless/hopeless....... Please Help!

Thankyou in advance,

Always,

Bree

Ok, I'm really getting my feelings hurt here... Everyday for I don't know how long, I have been trying to work out this problem on my own with absolutely no success.. And my post for help here just keeps getting buried =0(

I've done I don't know how many searches looking for more infomation but have found nothing that has done me any good =0(

Apparently no support is gonna come my way for free so who can I pay to help me out with this?!?!?

So far I have: configuration>download set first two options to "true"... then I went to product attributes... selected the Product, and put in the filename chelsie.zip (example)... And then I FTPed the zip file to the catalog>downloads folder on my server. I have set the folder permissions as I was directed to... Now what happens:

When you purchase a product and go to your account to nab ur download, the link IS there... However, after you click on it, it says something along the lines of "Authentication failed" and "you need to supply a valid username and password"...

HELP HELP HELP Pleeeeeeease HELP - FIRE - SOMETHING.

Seriously, this is support forum, can I get some support please?!?!?!? This is really frustrating!
