Downloaded files are all corrupt

Hi all just go everything to work on my site, so I thought, but now when you buy and item and then do the digital download it corropts the file whether it is jpg, gif, zip or rar. I can't even download the unreal.zip test file without it getting corrupted. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

How did you upload your files to your web server? If you upload them through the admin panel they will be no good. You must use a FTP program or some hosts have control panels where if a built in FTP program right on your server. Either way dont use the admin panel.

Hi..

 

 

I also have the same problem,, :'(

 

and i have uploaded the files through FTP Client (SmartFTP) and i also tried to uploaded using many other ways .. the file on the server looks fine, full size and nothing wrong with it .. and if i download it from the server it works, just when someone is downloading it through the link provided after buying it ..

 

PLEASE HELP, please!!

No one seems to be able to help here..

 

I was searching on Google and i found a solution for my problem, i hope it will be the solution for the same problem you are having

 

 

Go to Admin > Configuration > Download>

 

Check if the "Download by Redirect" is true .. if its true, change it to "false"...

 

 

or do vice versa :P

I was having this issue as well and was nearing the end of my rope. Tried uploading through my hosting company's control panel, tried SmartFTP, and Frontpage built-in FTP. Changing the Download by Redirect setting to false fixed my problem!! Thanks for your post! B) java script:emoticon('B)', 'smid_18')
