swortis
It's bizarre that the version does not appear in the admin control panel...
Jack_mcs
The version is in the includea/application_top.php file (search for version). However, that will most likely only tell you if you have MS1 or MS2 installed. There have been two updates to MS2 in the last few years. Those updates did not change the version string so there is no way to easily tell if you have those updates installed. You will need to download the latest version and compare some of the files (only the ones that were updated) to see if you have it instaled. If your shop was installed via your hosts control panel, then you most likely have the oldest version (no updates). aheisey
I was wondering too. My file has: // define the project version define('PROJECT_VERSION', 'osCommerce 2.2-MS2'); Does this mean I have the current version installed? If so, then all I need to do is download the updates and make the appropriate changes to those files?
Jack_mcs
It just means you have MS2 installed. It could or could not have the updates.
