Shipping Method Not Being Inserted Into orders_total Title Field

I'm using the latest version of USPS methods located here http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...all/search,usps

 

On all of my orders under the sub total it should display what shipping method was selected like USPS, and also possibly show they used first class etc. But no shipping information is shown on that orders page.

 

When I check the database table orders_total and look at the title field, (where the shipping method should be stored) no shipping information for any orders is in the field.

 

I have checked to make sure the admin -> modules -> orders total -> shipping is turned on. It is.

 

Does anyone know what might be the cause of the shipping method not being recorded? I believe that even if the shipping method selected was something other than USPS, it does not show on the orders.php as well.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had the same prob. I fixed it by going to the configuration >shipping/packaging Then Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship to 1 or above if you want to limit it. Make sure you add the weight to you item you you add to catalog. Then it showed up for me . Before it would redirect to checkout_payment.php.

"Before it would redirect to checkout_payment.php. " I'm not sure how that relates to my issue of the shipping method not showing on the admin/orders.php page since its not being stored in the orders_total table title field in the database.

 

My shipping methods show up fine in the checkout shipping page and people can select the shipping the want just fine. All my products have weight and I have the maximum weight set in the config.

 

Anyone else have any suggestions?
