Any suggestions ?

I'm having a similar problem. This is my first time with OS Commerce as well. Just to make everyone aware, I'm running PHP through IIS (I know...it's a pretty lousy setup, but it'll have to do). Any insights would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

i think thats a fairly common problem... i know myself but i can't remember how to fix it...try searching the forum at the bottom and use + before required search terms

you could try also checking your server error logs...

also look at the problem stage and see what it is trying to do

it might be worth checking your /includes/configure.php -> try changing the sessions from file to db (or vice versa)

with ten thousand dollars we'll all be millionaires

The most common cause for installation getting stuck in step 2

is that most recent PHP installations have register_long_arrays = OFF

This needs to be turned to ON in the php.ini file (you will need to

stop and restart your server to get this change to take effect.)

You'll have the same problem with any cart.

Its cos of the version of php im guessing ...

My server has php5 .... meh .. nvm, ill find another open cart

It looks like that might have done it!

Thanks so much!!
