I have downloaded Os Commerce, it is uploaded to my webspace..I am in the process of installing it...but I am getting the error, can not connect to MySQL server....I tried to download MYSQL program..but it is a server program and I don't have a server on my computer...How do I create a database..what program do I use? jasonabc Posted September 6, 2006 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Your web hosting account should have come with a predefined number of MySQL databases. You can access this from the control panel that came with your account. In vDeck it's a big icon called "Databases", in cPanel it's a MySQL logo. Click that and create a new database from there. If you don't have a web hosting account then you need to get one - you need to place your site on a webserver in order for people to see it.
