dchism Posted September 5, 2006 Share Posted September 5, 2006 I only have approximately 3000 items in the store and am running a mini-store system (multiple stores, one database). However, when clicking on "Add to Cart", it takes an unbelievable 1 min and 10 seconds for the shopping cart page to load. Compared to most sites, my store isn't "contribution heavy". Another key part of this is that when I have a customer that has an item in their cart and I check who's online, it takes who's online just as long to load as if I tried to put a product in a shopping cart (1 min 10 sec)....and I'm checking this on a T1 line. I can't even imagine how long it would take on slower systems. Anyone have any starting points that I can look at? It's obviously effecting the admin side (who's online) as well as the catalog side.
