Guest Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 hi there i have seen quite a few oscommerce sites and while i love what it can do and the addons that are available, i was wondering if there was a way to totally customise it so that only certain information will be shown. rather than have 4 columns of information is it possible to have 2 or 3 columns. what i am after is a way to make the shopping cart not look like a template shopping cart. i dont mean any disrespect to oscommerce and its developers, its just that i am not a fan of templates and would rather use a template as a basis from which i could adapt to make it not look like a template by the time its finished. any help on this is grately appreciated

What you choose to do with, and how you choose to display that data is completely up to you. Even with simple design contributions such as STS, you can create quite unique sites. As the previous poster said, if you know what you are doing, you are not limited AT ALL. Rob Rob Bell - Inspired Graphix Customising osCommerce in Australia, and the world! You will never get a "non-template" site without either putting alot of work, or paying alot of money for its development.
