Hi, I don't have OS commerce downloaded on my computer. I used fantastico through my web host and it downloaded itself on the server. How do I use contributions (i want to use the discount coupon code)

AFAIK, osCommerce contributions will only work with osCommerce. Atleast without heavy modifications being required.

Here is what I would sugest. Get rid of the osCommerce you have already installed, who knows how old it is but haw many changes have been made to it.

 

Get a clean copy of osCommerce, this will have all the current security patches and updates. Upload, install and configure the new version.

 

Using the copy on your PC make the changes required for the contribution and upload them making sure you keep a backup copy of the changed files and database just in case there is an error you can always revert back to the original.
