my index page has php.html at the end

Hi all,

 

My index page for the homepage of oscommerce has php.html at the end... I am using FileZilla to upload this is the path i used catalog]/includes/languages/english/index.php

 

on filezilla theres the page on one side ( which is where the php.html page is) and the uploaded site is on the other.

have i confused you yet?

 

is this normal or do i remove the html at the end?

 

when i go to view this page in my editor, its blank.

 

i got problems i think....

 

any help would be much appreciated.
