cybercon
Thanks for the feedback keep it coming. We will look into making some of these changes! I think the site is too crowded and busy. I would suggest creating broader categories and allowing customers to drill down. Cable Terminations (Cat 5/6 jacks, Racks and patch panels, keystones and wall plates) You might also considder: Fiber Products, Structured Cabling, etc. Allow some products to be in 2 or 3 categories. This would allow 4-6 categories on the home page so one would not have to scroll so much. Hope this helps. Let me know what you think of my site Hecht Boys Jeff Contributions I use: DynaMenus - Light Box - Best Sellers Content Box - Related Products 3.2 - UPS XML - Secure Admin Login - Vendor Locator - Graphical Borders. iofast
Hey All, nicangeli : I changed most of the images you referenced minus the search one which I kinda like. I found a great place to find public domain photos in the process - http://www.sxc.hu. Very Cool! cybercon : We had been thinking about linking products to multiple categories but haven't had time to do it. We will consider doing this shortly. We may join some of those categories but we sort of like some of them as is. I'd like to break some of them down more infact! I took a look at your site and must say it doesn't look too bad. The only thing I'd say is it is very dark - not a problem to most but I have seen a lot of people point that out about sites here in the past. Not that it is hard to read but just not as inviting I guess. I really don't mind the look of darker sites but some do. In general : We also added some spacing today between the categories and new products and also turned their font settings up for their respective titles. I think that cleans it up a little as well. Any more comments? Thanks!
Guest
I like your site. Not too much drill down. Useful and easy to find items. Good job.
