I've finished my VW parts site for the most part. I still have a TON of products to add, I need to work out some file permissions issues, plus get an SSL...but this is the just of the site's look and layout.

Let me know your thoughts.

HI

I like your store, good job.

However I think you should get rid of the stock OScommerce gifs and Im not to keen on the font used in your header image and below.

I am new to osC but not to web design or marketing. I offer the following observations:

I agree the font is tough to read.

I find the color contrast between the header and the pictures to be distracting against the simplicity of the body. Not sure why, but I do.

Remove the category count.

Your no image available graphic is impossible to read.

Your thumbnails are almost all compressed or streached. I think you should resize them to 100 x 100 or some factor of that. Also considder reducing the size of the graphic file for your pics, to reduce the loading time, and when enlarged the pictures are too large.

Look at one of the category menu contributions to reduce the size of the menu. Also having only a left column makes the column too long and creates a huge amount of whitespace on your home page.

Jeff

Contributions I use: DynaMenus - Light Box - Best Sellers Content Box - Related Products 3.2 - UPS XML - Secure Admin Login - Vendor Locator - Graphical Borders.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

The images need a lot of work in resizing. I just did a couple key ones as well as the no image graphic.

Also working on a new logo/font. I want something similar but definitely more legible...basically slightly retro looking but modern if that's understandable. If anyone has any font suggestions I'd appreciate it.
