I'm searching for a wrapper that will give me an editable html page and link in the menu system and not having much joy - Can anyone help?

Your question isn't clear. Do you mean editable by an external program, like FrontPage, or from within admin? What menu system?

I'm looking for a way to generate a custom page within OSC as opposed to a product page - In this instance I have been asked to provide a 'Links' page which I then add some html to and stick it the OSC layout. In fact if I hack the Privacy Notice page then all I need is a pointer on how to add a link in an info box which should not be hard - Sorry, major Monday morning headache today :rolleyes:

To create a new page, you make a copy of an existing file in the root, like privacy.php, rename it and change the references in it to privacy to your new page name. Do the same for the matching file in the english directory. Then add an entry in the includes/filenames.php file for the new page. For the link, just open up includes/boxes/information.php and copy one of the links there.
