Doc Holliday Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Hello, I presume this is a simple error on my part somewhere. I work on my site locally adding new contributions, then I upload the new files and the updated database to the remote server. When I update the database, it removes the existing customers and replaces them with the 'test' customers from the local. What am I doing wrong please? (I back up my database prior to this, so I don't lose the info, but it's not much good if it's not in the updated database). Thanks
Doc Holliday Posted September 5, 2006 Author Posted September 5, 2006 Any takers, I'm a little stumped? Thanks
241 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 are you downloading a copy of the database from the server to your local system or are you working with a fresh database on the local system? Fresh. *smacks head* Right, so anytime I want to work locally, I should import the db from the remote server? Thanks 241!
