Guest Posted September 4, 2006 Share Posted September 4, 2006 Hi, My apologies if this is a stupid question - I did a search of the forum and couldn't find a reference to this... On the server there's a number of files generated as core.followedbyanumber eg. core.3486 - can I safely delete these files? They're taking up quite a bit of server space that I would like to reclaim. I'm not sure what I did to get these files to generate in the first place, or what they're for. You should be able to delete them without causing any problems. You should try to rename them first. If everything still functions properly after that, then delete them. You may also want to ask your host to explain where they came from.
