Do you have an FTP script? You need to change the permissions of the file to allow writing (CHMOD)

Get Filezilla or crimson Editor and use it to change permissions as needed. Just be sure to leave them correct when you're done so you don't open up your back end for intruders.

If your site is hosted on an Apache server then you can use the CHMOD function in an FTP programme like FileZilla or (simpler to use) WS FTP Home. Please don't ask us how you set up an FTP connection.

Alternatively you can go to your web hosting control panel (not your osCommerce control panel) and use the File Manager to navigate to the folder/file you want to change permissions on and use that to change the permissions.
