session ID dropping out

Hi all,

 

I have just set up an OSC store. It's been added as a new "Shop" section to an already existing website. The problem comes when a user puts something in their cart and then goes off to another section on my website - the session ID drops out of the querystring. When the user goes back to his cart - it's empty.

 

I have 'mysql' as the value for STORED_SESSIONS in my config files. I thought OSC used server-side session variables to track a user's activity on the site (regardless of whether they were on the store or not) - surely it's not dependent on the session ID being present in the querystring at all times?

 

Any ideas how to fix this??
