Cannot get into Admin

Recommended Posts

I just tried to get into my Admin. Seems the password has been erased or something because I have typed it in several times and nothing happens.

Were is the password stored and how do you change it or retrieve it when it is forgotten?

Thanks

Kelvin

The admin password is not stored in the sql database. You need to go to your web hosting control panel and use their Password or Directory Protection link to re-protect the admin folder and that will alow you in.

Yes, you need a login and password for admin. It's highly recommended that you get SSL and secure your admin, I might add, though.
