Hello,

 

I've recently just started up a oscommerce store, and I need some help. I'm just trying to get a feel of the setup, and I am learning how to edit and change things in the database. When it was installed it already had a few pre-loaded items.

 

I tried adding a test item (something I made up). It all seemed to work fine 'till I tried to upload the image. What am I supposed to enter into the field "Products Image" to get my picture up? It has an option of "Browse" beside it. I tried that, and it didn't work. I gave the exact link of where the picture was, and that didn't work. I tried a few other things, and they still didn't work.

 

What am I missing here?

When ever I try to add the image, the image's location is ALWAYS set to:

 

http://www.mywebsite.ca/oscommerce/catalog/images/

 

The whole oscommerce package is set in the oscommerce folder.

if you did the browse thing did you click on preview button and then the insert button?

 

if you did then the products images may be turned off.

 

use the admin control... go to configuration and product listing...

 

display product image should have a value of 1

Yes the value is set to 1.

 

All the images of the stock items do show up, I just can't get the images to show up on the items that i've created.

product, price etc?

Yeah I can get everything else to work.

 

Could you run me through with what you doo to get the image up?
